On Friday night, I hurried off to see the Flamenco show featuring Lakshmi Basile "La Chimi" at La Gran Tapa in downtown San Diego.
I arrived to a full house packed with many of the local flamencos and many others that I did not recognize. Most noticeable, was the front row of chairs occupied by kids. They were so attentive to the show. Some of the kids even danced before and after the show. I bet some of them will be the future flamencos here in San Diego.

ReplyDeleteHe oido mucho del ambiente flamenco y talento que existe en San Diego, pero no he tenido la oportunidad de conocerlos personalmente. Las fotos y su descripcion del evento indican que el flamenco es bien establecido en San Diego y tiene un buen futuro. Les felicito.
