It's a video searching kinda night. I found this flamenco documentary trailer, Kumpanía Flamenco Los Angeles by Katina Dunn on Vimeo.
It features singers Marysol Fuentes (yes our San Diego based Marysol), Antonio de Jerez, dancers: Vanessa Acosta-Albalos, Muzuho Sato, Bryseida Zarate, Timo Nuñez, Manuel de la Cruz. Guitarits: Jose Tanaka and Antonio Triana. Percussionist Joey Heredia and many other flamenco performers, promoters, and documentarians who work in making the flamenco scene flourish in the city of Los Angeles. The film has was Audience Award Winner at the Buffalo International Film Festival 2011.
I can hardly wait to see the many flamenco friends, teachers and compañeros featured in this film.
